Sometimes coming to an in-person class doesn’t suit. Perhaps you live too far away, perhaps you are on holiday, or maybe you are new to Yoga and you feel a bit nervous being in a group class. Try one of our previously aired and recorded class videos. 60 min all levels classes to watch from the comfort of your own living room.

We don’t have a snazzy system to buy these videos, so please email natalie@startbaystudio.co.uk with the name of the class you want and it will be emailed to you along with a £10 payment link.

  • Alignment using the wall

    Alignment using the wall - Warrior poses

    A true alignment yoga class with precision in the Warrior series. This is an all levels class, where you’ll need a little space, 2 blocks (or similar) and a wall that you don’t mind putting your foot on. After a warm up, the focus is on level hips as we use props to learn Warrior 3. This was a live class aired on Feb 6th 2025

  • Open chest & side body - using the belt

    An all levels class to open the chest and the upper side ribs. We’ll warm up with classical sun salutations and after some standing postures, we’ll use the belt as a prop to an feel additional lift. Props needed, 2 blocks and a yoga strap (or similar). This was a live class aired on Feb 13th 2025

  • Overlooked muscles groups

    A class to focus on some overlooked muscles we perhaps don’t stretch enough! The Neck muscles, core muscles, Serratus anterior (side body), Tibialis anterior (front of shin). A varied class, helpful if you have blocks. This was a live class aired on Feb 20th 2025

  • Ashtanga Primary Series - A taster

    Ever wanted to try Ashtanga Yoga? This is a taster of the Ashtanga Primary Series: A set sequence of standing and seated postures. It’s a strong practice, but taught with time for alignment and precision. Make sure to allow time to rest at the end! This was a live class aired on Feb 27th 2025

  • Opening the front body for Dancer's Pose

    Opening the front body - Dancer's Pose

    Spend time working through the front body, especially the hip flexors to prepare for Dancer’s Pose - coming into the final posture with ‘balance and grace’ which feature throughout. Breath, alignment and poise for the peakp posture. 2 blocks and a strap needed for this class, which aired on March 6th 2025

  • Balance & Grace - toes, hip flexors

    This class stretches the toes in ways we may never have stretched them before! Discover how flexible they are! It’s also a class filled with balance challenges, trying to move with grace and control. It’s not about the posture but the stretch! Strap needed. Aired on March 13th 2025.

  • A journey for the hips -Spring Equinox

    For this Spring Equinox class we take a journey around the hips. Some forward fold focus early on for hamstrings and abductors, followed by a intense move for the calves. Adding hip flexors and adductors with side squats and lunges. This class aired on March 13th 2025

  • Pranayama & Iyengar precision

    Starting with a short pranayama session to build the perfect breath, this class builds heat with 2 rounds of classical surya namaskar, followed by technical precision work (Iyengar style) with standing postures. 2 blocks and a strap needed. This class aired on March 27th 2025

  • A non-hot, Hot Yoga Sequence! (Bikram)

    A fun class which takes you through the Bikram Yoga standing sequence. Usually carried out in 40 degrees, here we take it slowly and build our own body heat with sun salutations to begin! No props needed, although 2 blocks might be helpful! This class aired on 3rd April 2025.

  • Preparing for Bakasana (Crow pose)

    This class focuses on 3 main areas of the body to prepare for a play with Crow pose. Anterior deltoids & chest, abdominals and the triceps. Some flowing, some standing postures, balance with flying eagle and finishing in Bakasana. Chair, blocks and mat needed. This was a live class aired 24th April 2025

  • Stilling the mind - Drishti and Balance

    A class demanding a huge level of focus - we use the gazing point (Drishti), rhythm and repetition of movement to find mental clarity and concentration. Your mind won’t have the opportunity to drift - not until Sivasana ! There is a lot of balance, but it gets easier as we solidify neuropathways and repeat again and again. This class was aired live on May 1st 2025

  • Shoulders AND deep hip flexor work

    An all levels class to develop strength in the shoulders through variations of plank, but also to work on depth in lunges for the lengthening of the hip flexors. Expect some seriously stretched hip flexors (e.g. quads and psoas) by the time the class is over. This class was aired on the 8th May 2025.

  • Shoulder flexibility and strengthening

    This class builds flexibility in the shoulders with some floor work, then moves on to focus on shoulder strengthening. Longer hold planks (with subtle cues for chest and ab activation), and movements to ensure we cover concentric, eccentric and isometric strengthening. Class was aired on 15th May 2025.

  • Discipline and Drift

    An all levels class with a combination of discipline (focussed postures with precision and breath awareness) and time to drift away with your thoughts. A challenging class with some flowing as well as time in postures to really feel the stretch. This was a live class aired on May 22nd 2025

  • Pulse and Pause - The Hip Compass

    An all levels class working methodically through all the movements of the hips, including hip flexion, hip extension, hip abduction, hip adduction, internal rotation and external rotation. Some pauses to regulate breath between each sequence. This class was aired on 29th May 2025

  • Viloma and Vitality

    A class to lengthen the breath using Natalie’s BLOSSOM 7 step process plus some additional lengthening through Viloma (breath retention). The class continues on with movement, to focus on core (front, back and sides). 2 blocks useful, and a bolster. This was a live class aired on June 5th 2025.

  • Leap of Faith - Hanumanasana

    Leap of Faith - Hanumanasana

    Deep prep in this class for the hip flexors and extensors (think front of thighs and back of thighs) which are definitely needed for our version of Monkey Pose (Hanumanasana, otherwise known as the Splits!). Lots of ways to try this without the need of doing the full pose. Helpful to have blocks, strap, and 2 bolsters (or cushions). Class aired 12th June 2025
