Rising on the Diagonal

Rise on the Diagonal is a class designed to create strength and length through the entire side seam of the body. We spend so much of life moving forwards and backwards that the lateral muscles — the obliques, intercostals and deep stabilisers of the spine — often get tight and underused. This class restores that balance. Through modified side planks we build steady, supportive strength in the shoulders and core, before expanding into a modified Triangle and Extended Side Angle — one of the very best postures for true side-body length, breath space and grounded power through the legs.
