The descent for Longevity

The descent for Longevity is a feisty class exploring low squatting postures (e.g. Utthan Pristhasana, Skandasana, Malasana) as a powerful indicator of health, independence, and longevity. Across many cultures, the ability to descend comfortably toward the ground and rise back up is a key marker of functional movement and graceful ageing. In this practice we work gently on creating length and ease in the muscles and connective tissues surrounding the ankles, knees, and hips. Class recorded 15th Jan 2026.
